New Project...

This is the last thing I saw of a dream before I woke. I figured it was a pretty kick ass dream what with it being animated for its' duration untill the end, when the boy rises from the water after having caught a pink salmon... strange, I know, but it's one of those you HAVE to paint...



So I figured I would take the opportunity to illustrate my usual painting process... from concept to finish.



Here we see the final concept sketch next to a penciled canvas. I usually resort to gridding off my canvases if I am transfering an image. Some would say it's very time consuming, but hey, I'm poor and don't have access to a projector.



So here it is, more to follow in the next week...
